Effort Certification

Effort Certification

It is mandatory that each faculty member annually certify that their effort in terms of research, teaching, and service is being properly allocated to various accounts.  Certification includes stating the amount of time spent on these activities as well as the source of funding for these efforts, particularly accounting for research funding in the summer or course buyouts.

Faculty must do this to comply with both University regulations and federal mandates.

Annual Effort certification is done through Wolverine Access.
