Development and Alumni Relations (DAR)

The DAR team aims to development and build relationships with alumni and donors, support future generations of students, align donor interest with UMSI needs and equip UMSI with resources for future success and sustainability. We identify funding needs, manage the UMSI Dean's Advisory Board, host alumni events, thank and steward donors, celebrate alumni success and collaborate with peers across UMSI and U-M. As technology evolves, so do the challenges the world faces. Support to the school equips UMSI graduates and faculty to innovate with purpose — as problem-solvers who put people first.  

Our Goals and Philosophy

• Celebrate the impact philanthropy has on UMSI, our faculty, staff, and students. 

• Providing meaningful touchpoints and engagement opportunities for alumni. 

• Create opportunities for alumni and donors to support UMSI -- through financial support or through engaging with our students.
