Adjunct Track Faculty (non-tenure)

Adjunct (Clinical or Professorial at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Levels) Professor Track (non-tenure)

Adjunct faculty are hired at 49% or less effort and must be renewed annually. 

There are two types of adjuncts. 

1. Adjunct Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors are faculty who have left the university but want to continue identification with UMSI, or want to be associated with the university due to research collaborators or projects. 

2. Adjunct Clinical Professors are individuals who have a high degree of stature in their profession contribute to our teaching and/or research missions.
